This was one of my favorite books of 2020. in light of our countries oppression and the suppression of people of color, it's important to understand how this all started, and furthermore to keep in mind that it has been going on for hundreds of years. If you chose to read Caste, I ask you to keep this question in mind - What are you going to do to help our current segregation and civil rights crisis?
MAYBE YOU SHOULD TALK TO SOMEONE
LORI GOTTLIEB
I loved this book. The author tells stories about her patients and their challenges with everyday life. The one character she calls "John" still intrigues me to this day. His entire story kept me turning the page to see what's next. I highly recommend if you need some real-life, feel-good entertainment.
